I%26#39;m not sure about video game but it%26#39;s like an online game on your PC. =) There are multiple game types, such as: RPG (Role Playing Game), MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online), FPS (First Person Shooter), RTS (Real Time Strategy), and TBS (Turn Based Strategy). These genres, combined with a multitude of platforms (Computer, Nintendo, Playstation, Xbox, Sega) bring forth a plethora of video games.

RPG: Final Fantasy III (VI) for the Playstation, Neverwinter Nights for the Computer
FPS: Half Life series, Call of Duty series, Unreal Tournament series

RTS: Total Annihilation, Starcraft, Command and Conquer series
The best game of all time is Subspace, now known as Continuum. It is a free, online real time space action game. It has been out for over 10 years and can run on ANY computer now in existence. It is only a 5-6 MB file, the equivalent of 2 or 3 songs.
Online leagues abound in several dozen servers (with multiple zones each) available for your choosing. 8 entirely different spacecraft to choose from to blow your opponents to smithereens. In subspace, a unique chat-window system is on the lower part of your screen, so you can chat with allies and enemies alike.
