Give me a Favour that is buying a PS2,Ok?

Hi..I want help in buying a PS2 but I hear that its games will soon be removed from the shelves because of PS3. Is that true? So I%26#39;m very confused. Plz help me. The reason I don%26#39;t buying a PS3 is because of its high price in Pakistan (I%26#39;m from Pakistan) and i.e 45000 to 50000 Rs. and XBox360 costs 25000 Rs. And Ps2 is about 9000 Rs.so I cannot afford it. Is it good to buy a PS2 at that time when Ps3 is also in market? Will PS2 games will stop after a short time? Help me...Plz

The PS2 is expected to be around for at least 2 more years (2007 and 2008). But don%26#39;t expect a lot of high profile games to be available on the PS2. Most of the high profile games will be on the PS3. You%26#39;ll still occasionally see sports games and movie tie-in games on the PS2.

Look on the bright side, there might not be a whole lot of new games on the PS2, but think of all the old games that you can play.
