how do i play single player on multiplayer mode with aliens with me as teammates?

I think your talking about Co-op Campaign mode, in that case that is the Arbitors story part of the campaign mode, Your gonna switch back and forth from master chief and arbitor (alien) as u progress thru the story! GL HF!!!
